Where a counselling practice goes once it's established: fees, new services, professional progression and building something that lasts.
There comes a point where the practice works. The diary is reasonably full, the admin is under control, and the panic of the early days has faded. The question then becomes a quieter one: what now? Growing isn’t only about seeing more people, and for most counsellors it shouldn’t be. It’s about shaping a practice that pays fairly, uses your strengths, and stays sustainable for the long haul.
This stage is about those choices. There’s no single right direction, and more is not always better.

Where to start
If you haven’t reviewed your fee in a while and the diary is full, start there, because it’s the simplest lever and often the most overdue. If you’re full but restless, look at where you’d like the work to deepen rather than just taking on more of the same.
Growing well usually means choosing what to do more of and what to let go, not simply adding.
